6. Maintenance
6.9.3. Tensioning of the drive belts for self-propelled machines
(combustion engine) (A425/430 pivotable):
1. Remove bolts of the drive belt cover.
2. Swing out the drive belt cover.
3. Loosen and remove the bolts of the engine bracket (according to machine type
and design 3-4 bolts).
4. Loosen counter nut of the clamping screw.
5. Engine bracket is shiftable.
6. Tension of the belt can now be regulated by shifting the engine.
7. Follow inverse order to fix the belt tension.
Attention!
The engine block needs to be adjusted straightly to ensure a straight running of the
belt.

(combustion engine) machines with front motor:
The tension of the belts can be regulated by using the counter nuts (1). Number and
position of the nuts can vary due to different model types.
