1. Safety instructions
1.9.1 Motor maintenance
The maintenance of the motor has to be done according to the motor instruction
manual.
1. Do not maintain while the motor is running!
2. When working on the motor, disconnect the battery (negative pole) and if
existing pull of the spark plug connector!
3. Leaks of high pressure systems can cause severe injuries because escaping
high pressure fluids can penetrate the skin (e.g. fuel injection system). See a
doctor in case of injury due to high pressure leaks – danger of infection!
4. Only use oil and fuel of the required quality. Storage of these fluids only in
allowed containers!
5. Watch out when dumping hot oil. Danger of being burnt!
6. Watch out when taking off the radiator cap. Cooling fluid can be under pressure
danger of being burnt!
7. Dispose oils, fuels, batteries and filters separately and orderly!
1.9.2 Electric system
1. Always disconnect the battery (negative pole) when working on the electric
system!
2. Disconnect the battery in the right order – first negative pole then positive pole!
Connection of the battery in the reverse order!
3. Caution with battery gases – explosive!
4. Avoid hot work and sparking near the battery!
5. Remove the plastic cover when recharging the battery to avoid the accumulation
of explosive gases!
6. Caution when handling with battery fluids – corrosive!
7. Only use mandatory fuses. When using stronger fuses the electric system can
get destroyed – fire danger!
8. Always protect the positive battery pole with the designated cover. In case of
fault to frame: danger of explosion!
1.9.3 Hydraulic system
1. Observe the max. system pressure!
2. Hydraulic system is under high pressure!
3. Leaks of high pressure systems can cause severe injuries because escaping
high pressure fluids can penetrate the skin (e.g. fuel injection system). See a
doctor in case of injury due to high pressure leaks – danger of infection!
4. Use proper devices when searching for leaks in the hydraulic system. Risk of
injury!
5. Depressurize the hydraulic system and lower or secure lifted machine parts
before starting work on the hydraulic system!
6. Watch out for the mandatory connection when connecting hydraulic cylinders or
motors!
