Why won't my Jet ZH start?
    • J
      Jamie BoothAug 13, 2025
There are several reasons why your Jet Lathe might not be starting. It could be due to: * No electrical power or incorrect wiring: Verify the incoming power, main leads, and that the main switch is on. * Emergency stop switch: Rotate the switch clockwise to release it. * Open end gear cover: Close the cover. * Blown fuse: Replace the fuse in the main electrical box or reset the circuit breaker at the power source. * Defective components: Have an electrician test the on/off switch, motor, or cable. * Faulty foot brake switch: Check and replace it if needed. * Tripped thermal relay: Reset it. If it trips frequently, increase the amp setting.
