5-2. Replacement of Z-axis motor
Hold the coupling (A) by hand and loosen the setscrew (B) little by little.
The Z-axis lowers as the setscrew (B) is loosened. Lower the Z-axis gradually while holding the
coupling (A) by hand.
Remove the motor mounting screw (C) and cut the cable tie securing the motor cable bundle to
detach the motor.
Loosen the screws in the connector part of the cables connected to the motor and replace the
motor.
(Number of screws: 4 for encoder cable bundle, 2 for brake cable bundle, 4 for motor cable
bundle)
