Selecting the Aspect Ratio of SD Videos
Select an aspect ratio for the images.
The available
options vary as follows depending on
the [System] setting.

For “HD”: Fixed at 16:9

For “SD”: Can select 16:9 or 4:3
Setting the Record Format Menu

Display the [Main Menu] B [Record
Format]
menu.

Set each of the items.

setting is complete for all items, press
the [FOCUS ASSIST/1]
button.

Zoom Operation
Adjusts the angle of view.
Optical zoom is 10 times.
Enable the dynamic zoom function to zoom up to
19 times.
Set
the
dynamic zoom “On”/“Off” in [Main Menu] B
[Camera Function] B [Dynamic Zoom].

Set the [FIX/VAR/OFF] zoom speed switch
to “FIX” or
“VAR”.

Setting to “FIX” will allow the zoom operation to

the speed set in [Handle Zoom Speed].
