Setting [DAY/NIGHT] to “AUTO”

Select the [BASIC SETTINGS] item on the [MENU] screen, and
press the [SET] button.
The [BASIC SETTINGS] screen appears.

Move the cross key up/down to select [DAY/NIGHT].

Move the cross key to the left/right to set to “AUTO”.

Even when [AUX FUNCTION] is set to “OUT:B&W”, the
state of rear AUX terminal is not changed if [DAY/NIGHT] on
the [BASIC SETTINGS] screen is set to “COLOUR”.

When a near-infrared light is used, the image may switch
from black-and-white to colour if there is strong reflection
from the subject. To ensure that switching is performed
correctly, it is recommended that users make use of the
setting that controls black-and-white/colour switching signal
externally.

The image may go out of focus due to the lens performance
when the lighting on the subject becomes a near-infrared
light source. In this case, make use of a lens that supports
near-infrared light.
