2. Remove device from docking station.
3. Change position of slide switch.
4. Fit device to docking station again.
5. Switch on power supply.
6. Press a key (numeric keypad on device front panel).
- key "1" = cold start
- key "3" = start service mode
- key "7" = Start service mode and set the service IP
A cold start of the system deletes and initialises the data memory. A cold start will
be required, for example, after a software update or when the memory
configuration is changed. The device starts in these cases with the device software.
Performing a cold start resets parameters to their default values and deletes master
records and entries.
Network settings and group and device addresses are retained.
6.4.3 Accessing the terminal using a web browser
The terminal can only be accessed using a web browser if the terminal is in service
mode.
1. Start the terminal in service mode as described in Chapter 6.4.2 - Starting
service mode.
2. Enter the IP address of the terminal in the web browser (Internet Explorer) - e.g.
http//:198.162.25.11.
3. Enter the user name and password.
User name: root
Password: Bedanet
