ð This opens the menu for learning the end-positions.

▶ Press the S3 (Irn lmit) button in order to start the learning program.
ð The learning program moves the patient simulator and quits with a signal sound
and the message disappearing.

▶ Press the "S4" button (exit).
ð The end-positions are set and the menu closes.
Stirrup switch on foot control A has a safety shutdown. When the safety shutdown is
activated, the patient simulator can travel no longer. The unit shows a display mes-
sage and the park position button flashes. Once the stirrup switch is released, the pa-
tient simulator can be moved again. These is no need to run the learning program in
this case.
5.2 Foot control A
Using the instrument
▶ Press and hold down the foot pedal.
ð The handpiece starts up.
▶ Swing the foot pedal to the right.
ð The speed is increased continuously.
▶ Swing the foot pedal to the left.
ð The speed is decreased continuously.
▶ Release the foot control.
ð The handpiece stops.
