What’S neW With SoftStep3?
The SoftStep3 is the latest addition to our line of MIDI contoller pedals� SoftStep3 has a USB-C jack to
connect to a computer or mobile device� Unlike previous versions, SoftStep3 does not have a KMI MIDI
Expander port, instead it has a TRS MIDI Out jack� As a result, the SoftStep3 no longer has a serial MIDI In
connection and can only receive MIDI IN over USB� We have added a CV port with 2 CV outs for connecting
to modular and analog synthesizers�
The new SoftStep Editor software is fully backwards compatible with previous versions of the SoftStep
hardware� In this manual, references to the TRS MIDI Out port can be understood to apply to the MIDI
Expander port as well�
