Capacitance verification
To compensate for capacitance offset of the cable and 1 µF thru 100 µF decade box:
1. Connect the DMM6500, shielded banana cable, banana to dual BNC cable, and 1 µF through
100 µF decade capacitor box as shown in the following diagram.

2. Set the decade capacitor box to 0 F.
3. On the DMM6500, press the FUNCTION key, select the Measure Functions tab, and select
Capacitance.
4. Press the MENU key.
5. Under Measure, select Settings.
6. Set the Range to 1 nF.
