Measurement Modules
Keysight B1500A can be equipped with the following measurement modules.
• “GNDU - Ground Unit”
• “HPSMU - High Power SMU”
• “MPSMU - Medium Power SMU”
• “MCSMU - Medium Current SMU”
• “HRSMU - High Resolution SMU”
• “MFCMU - Multi Frequency CMU”
• “HVSPGU - High Voltage SPGU”
• “WGFMU - Waveform Generator/Fast Measurement Unit”

GNDU - Ground Unit
Keysight B1500A is equipped with the ground unit (GNDU). The GNDU is a 0 V
constant voltage source, and used for the reference of measurement ground. Also the
GNDU can sink up to ± 4.2 A, so it is effective for using the HPSMU (high power
SMU). Figure 2-1 is a simplified circuit diagram of GNDU.
