Measurement Modules
WGFMU - Waveform Generator/Fast Measurement
Unit
This section describes typical specification of the waveform generator/fast
measurement unit (WGFMU) and the remote-sense and switch unit (RSU).
Maximum five modules can be installed in one mainframe.
• Number of channels: 2 channels per module
• Function:
Voltage output and current or voltage sampling measurement with minimum
sampling interval of 5 ns
• Current measurement range: 1 A, 10 A, 100 A, 1 mA, or 10 mA
• Operation mode: PG mode, Fast IV mode, or DC mode
•PG mode:
ALWG (arbitrary linear waveform generator) voltage output and voltage
measurement (VFVM).
Output level: -5 V to 5 V for open load or -2.5 V to 2.5 V for 50 load
Minimum pulse width: 50 ns
•Fast IV mode:
ALWG voltage output and current or voltage measurement (VFIM or VFVM).
Output level: 0 to -10 V, 0 to 10 V, or -5 V to 5 V
Minimum pulse width (VFVM): 130 ns for 10 V output, 105 ns for 5 V output
•DC mode:
DC voltage output and current or voltage measurement (VFIM or VFVM).
Output level: 0 to -10 V, 0 to 10 V, or -5 V to 5 V
