Performance Verification
DC accuracy verification
This test verifies the DC accuracy of the U8903B analyzer by measuring a range of DC
voltage amplitudes supplied by a calibrator to ensure that it is within the published
specification.
1 Connect the calibrator to the U8903B input channel to be tested via the Unbalanced
connection as shown in Figure 3-1. The BNC-to-banana jack adapter and the BNC
male-to-female T splitter is used for this connection. Preset both the U8903B and
calibrator.

2 Configure the calibrator as follows:
– Output state: Standby
3 Configure the U8903B input channels, channel 1 (3, 5, or 7) and channel 2 (4, 6, or 8) as
shown in Figure 3-1 to be tested as follows:
– Connection type: Unbalanced
– Input bandwidth: 90 kHz
– Input coupling: DC
– Voltage detector type: RMS
