Brakes
Check
the
power
brakes
for
proper
opera-
tion.
e
Depress
the
brake
pedal
a
few
times
and
then
hold
it
down.
Start
the
engine
and
the
pedal
should
drop
slightly.
e
Depress
the
brake
pedal,
stop
the
engine,
and
hold
the
pedal
down
for
about
30
seconds.
The
pedal
should
neither
drop
nor
rise.
e
Restart
the.engine,
let
it
run
for
about
a
minute,
and
turn
it
off.
Then
firmly
depress
the
brake
pedal
several
times.
The
pedal
travel
should
decrease
with
each
subsequent
stroke.
If
the
brake
do
not
operate
properly,
have
the
brake
system
checked
by
an_
autho-
rized
Kia
Dealer.
