LOCK
The
steering
wheel
is
locked
to
protect
against
theft.
Only
in
this
position
can
the
key
be
removed.
ACC
The
steering
wheel
is
unlocked
and
some
electrical
accessories
are
operative.
ON
The
warning
lamps
(except
brake
warning
lamp)
can
be
checked
before
the
engine
is
started.
This
is
the
normal
running
posi-
tion
after
the
engine
is
started.

Do
not
leave
the
ignition
switch
ON
if
the
engine
is
not
running.
The
battery
will
dis-
charge.
START
Used
to
start
the
engine.
The
engine
will
crank
until
you
release
the
key;
then
it
returns
to
ON.
The
brake
warning
lamp
can
be
checked
in
this
position.
NOTE
If
difficulty
is
experienced
in
turning
the
ignition
switch,
turn
the
steering
wheel
right
and
left
while
turning
the
switch
to
ON.
Removing
the
Key
from
the
Ignition
.
Put
the
gearshift
in
First.
Set
the
parking
brake
fully.
Turn
to
lock
position.
Remove
the
key.
