Rear Window Wiper and
Washer

The rear window wiper and washer can
be operated together or independently by
pushing the top or bottom of the switch.
1. Push top switch forward one notch for
wiper only.
2. Push completely forward for wiper and
washer
3. Push bottom of switch for washer only.
NOTE
If the washer does not work, check the
washer fluid level which may be low. If the
fluid level is sufficient, consult your near-
est authorized Kia Dealer.

Rear Window Defroster

This defroster clears frost, fog, or thin ice
from the interior and exterior of the rear
window. Start the engine before operating
the defroster and if there is a heavy
accumulation of snow on the rear window,
brush it off. Depress the switch to operate
rear window defroster. To prevent damage
to the conductors, which are bonded to
the interior surface of the rear window,
never use sharp instruments or window
cleaners containing abrasive to clean the
interior surface of your rear window.
NOTE
The indicator light illuminates when the
rear window defroster is operating.
Digital Electric Clock
HOW EACH BUTTON WORKS:
When the ignition switch is in the "ACC" or
"ON" position—
RESET: To clear away minutes, press
the "RESET" button. When you
release the button, the clock
will be set precisely on the
hour.
As an example, if the "RESET"
button is pressed while the time
is between 9:01 and 9:29, the
display will be reset to 9:00. If
pressed while it is between
9:30 and 9:59, the display will
be reset to 10:00.
9:01—9:29 9:00
9:30—9:59 10:00
This procedure is useful when
you want to set the clock, for
example, against a radio broad-
cast time signal.
