checking
belt
tension,
remove
the
key
from
the
igni-
tion
switch
for
safety.

Keep
hair,
loose
clothing,
neck

necklaces

similar
arti-
cles
away

drive
belts,
especially
when
the
engine
is
running.
ALWAYS
REMOVE
ALL
TOOLS
from
the
engine
compartment
before
attempting
to
start
the
engine.
Any
of
the
above
items
could
become
entangled
in
the
belts
and
cause
severe
personal
injury
or
damage
to
the
vehicle,
or
both.
NOTE
If
the
drive
belt
becomes
worn,
cracked,
or
frayed
it
should
be
replaced.

tension
