WARNING!
Driving the vehicle with a warning
lamp on is dangerous. If the brake
warning remains on, have the
brakes checked and repaired
immediately.
WARNINGS AND INDICATORS

ENGINE OIL PRESSURE —
WARNING
This warning light indicates that the
engine oil pressure is low.
If the warning light comes on while driving:
1. Pull safely off the road and stop your
vehicle.
2. Check the engine oil level. If the oil
level is low, add oil as required or tow
your vehicle to the nearest repair sta-
tion or an authorized Kia Dealer to add
oil.
CAUTION
There is the possibility that your vehi-
cle's engine could suffer damage if you
continue driving while the warning
light is on. Therefore, you should stop
the engine immediately.
ALTERNATOR WARNING
The warning light indicates a
malfunction of either the alterna-
tor or electrical wiring system.
CHARGE
If the warning light comes on while the
vehicle is in motion
1. Drive safely to the side of the road and
stop your vehicle.
2. With the engine stopped, inspect the
alternator drive belt for looseness or
breakage.
3. If the belt is operating properly, a prob-
lem exists somewhere in the charging
system. It should be found and cor-
rected as soon as possible, by an
authorized Kia Dealer.
HEADLIGHT HIGH =
BEAM INDICATOR %,
This indicator light comes on
when the head lights are on ,and in the
high beam position.
REAR WINDOW
DEFROSTER
INDICATOR (if equipped)
This indicator light glows when
the rear window defroster is operating.
