Be
sure
that
all
windows,
outside
mirror(s),
and
outside
lights
are
clean.
e
Check
the
condition
of
the
tyres.
e
Check
under
the
vehicle
for
any
sign
of
leaks.
e
Be
sure
no
one
and
no
obstacle
is
at
the
rear
of
the
vehicle
if
you
intend
to
reverse.
Necessary
Inspections
Fluid
levels,
such
as
engine
oil,
engine
coolant,
brake
fluid,
clutch
fluid,
and
washer
fluid,
should
be
checked
daily,
weekly,
or
whenever
you
refuel,
depend-
ing
on
the
fluid.

BEFORE
STARTING
e
Close
and
lock
all
doors.
e
Position
the
seat
so
that
all
controls
are
easily
reached.
e
Adjust
the
inside
and
outside
rearview
mirrors.
Fasten
seat
belts
of
occupied
seats.
Be
sure
that
all
lights
work.
Check
all
gauges.
Check
the
operation
of
warning
lamps
when
the
ignition
switch
is
turned
to
the
ON
position.
e
Release
the
parking
brake
and
make
sure
the
brake
warning
lamp
goes
out.
For
safe
operation,
be
sure
you
are
famil-
iar
with
your
vehicle
and
its
equipment.
