BRAKE SYSTEM
Brake Pad Wear Indicator
(front disc brake pads)
When the disc brake pads become worn,
the built-in wear indicators will contact the
disc plates, causing a screeching noise to
warn the driver that the brake pads should
be replaced.
If you hear a squealing or scraping noise
while driving, have the brake pads
checked and if necessary replaced by an
authorized Kia Dealer as soon as
possible.
WARNING!
failure to replace the disc pads
may result in damage to the brake
system and adversely affect brake
performance.
