(A) Wheel - to - wheel distance at front
(B) Wheel - to - wheel distance at rear
1. Park tractor on a at level area.
2. Turn steering wheel so front wheels
are pointed straight ahead.
3. Lower the implement, lock the
parking brake and stop the engine.
4. Measure distance between tire
beads (center) at front of tire and
hub height.
5. Measure distance between tire
beads at the rear of tire and hub
height.
6. Front distance should be 2~8 mm
(0.08~0.31 in.) less than rear dis-
tance. If not, adjust ball joint length.
READJUSTMENT
(1) Tie Rod Lock Nut (2) Tie Rod

1. Loosen the lock nut and turn the
turnbuckle to adjust the rod length
until the proper toe-in measure-
ment is obtained.
2. Check the toe-in value after the tie
rod is adjusted.
3. Adjust it again if necessary.

CHECKING RADIATOR HOSE AND
CLAMP (Z)
Check to ensure the radiator hoses
are free from damage and are tight-
ened properly every 200 hours or ev-
ery 6 months, whichever comes rst.
1. If the hose clamps are loose or
water leaks from hose, tighten
clamps securely.
2. If the radiator hoses are swollen,
hardened, cracked, or otherwise
damaged, you must replace the
hoses. Failure to do so could lead
to coolant loss and engine damage.
