MAINTENANCE
7
To avoid accidents:
Do not remove the radiator cap
while the coolant is hot. You
can be burned by hot steam.
Make sure to remove radiator
cap after the coolant is cooled
down enough.
Even though the coolant has
cooled down, turn the cap to
its rst stop and then wait un-
til it has depressurized before
removing the cap completely.
CAUTION

Do not start engine without
cool-
ant.

Use clean, fresh water and
anti-freeze to fill the radiator
and reservoir tank.

When the anti-freeze is mixed
with water, the anti-freeze mix-
ing ratio must be less than 50%.

Securely tighten radiator cap. If
the cap is loose or improperly
fitted, water may leak out and
the engine could overheat.
If the radiator cap has to be
removed, follow the caution
above and securely retighten
the cap.
Use clean fresh water and anti-
freeze to ll the reservoir tank.
If the coolant leaks, contact
your local KIOTI Dealer.
