Camera does not
turn on.
Battery is not
properly installed.
Remove and reinstall the batteries
(page 5).
Battery is not
charged.
Replace (page 5) or recharge the
batteries (page 66).
Lens cap is on,
preventing lens
from extending.
Remove the lens cap.
Pictures remaining
number does not
decrease after
taking a picture.
The picture does not
take up enough
space to decrease
the number.
The camera is operating normally.
Continue taking pictures.
