Valve guides and valve guide housings
Starting from engine No. 2883619 intake and exhaust valve guides are
both made of phosphoric cast iron.
Components:
1 = Exhaust valve guide
2 = Intake valve guide
Valve guides with outside diameter increased by 0.5 mm. are also
available;in such cases valve guide bore C shouid also be increased
by 0.5 mm.
Valve guide insertion
Heat cylinder head up to 160÷180°C
Press guides considering the A and B distances from the head plane.
Dimensions and clearance between guides and valves
* with driven guide.
