Mower conditioner
8.2.5 Conditioning intensity
Several factors govern the conditioning intensity
adjustment:
Conditioning rotor speed
See section "Finger conditioning rotor speed".
Conditioning comb
Before adjusting, maintaining or repairing
the machine, turn off ignition key and wait
until all moving parts have come to a
complete stop.
Adjustment lever (1)
The control lever is used to adjust the conditioning
comb to 5 different positions.
To increase the conditioning intensity, move the
comb closer to the conditioning rotor (Position a).
To reduce the conditioning intensity (for harvesting
leguminous crops for example), move the comb
away from the conditioning rotor (Position b).
If the leaves are damaged and the stalks are
crushed, reduce the conditioning intensity.
