Before checking that the discs rotate freely by hand:
10.3.3 Checking the oil levels
If it is found that the transmission case is very hot
to touch by hand, there is no cause of alarm
provided:
- Lubrication recommendations have been
respected.
- Discs can be rotated freely by hand when the
machine is hot.
- Turn off the engine, remove ignition key
and wait until all moving parts have come
to a complete stop.
 Gyrodine gearbox
- Check oil level in lower gearbox:
• The oil level must reach lower part of level plug
hole.
- Check oil level in upper gearbox:
• The oil level must reach lower part of level plug
hole.

Side gearbox
- Check side bevel gearbox oil level:
• The oil level must reach lower part of level plug
hole.
