Mower conditioner
Cutter bar clogging. Dull or broken knives. Replace knives.
The overload clutch slips. Check that torque limiter is
functioning.
Clutch adjustment.
Too much cutterbar down
pressure.
Adjust the mowing unit
ground pressure.
Too low PTO speed
(rotational frequency).
Increase the PTO speed
and check that the chosen
input speed corresponds
to the nominal tractor PTO
speed.
Belts stretched or worn. Tighten or replace the
belts.
Considerable vibrations. Distorted conditioning
rotor.
Replace finger
conditioning rotor.
Distorted, worn or missing
rotor pivoting fingers.
Inspect and replace worn
or damaged fingers on the
conditioning rotor.
Belt breakage. Pulley alignment. Check that pulleys are in
line.
Incorrect tensioning idler
pulley position.
Check alignment.
Conditioning rotor
vibration.
Inspect and replace worn
or damaged fingers on the
conditioning rotor.
