10.1 Tightening torques
Tightening
torques
The following tightening torques (Nm) are valid for screws and nuts where no
other specifications are given.
The specified values apply to lightly oiled black (e.g. phosphated) and coated
(e.g. mech.galv., zinc flake coatings) screws and nuts.
Tighten M5 domed cap nuts with a torque of 4.2 Nm.
