Connection to PBX (Private Branch Exchange) (Europe only)
When using this machine in environment in which PBX for connection to multiple phones for business use is installed,
perform the following PBX setting.
NOTE: Before connecting this machine to PBX, it is recommended to contact the company that installed the PBX
system to request connection of this machine. Note that correct operation cannot be guaranteed in environment in
which this machine is connected to PBX because the functions of this machine may be restricted.
PBX Setting
1 Press the System Menu/Counter key.
2 Press the or key to select [Adjust/Maint.], and press
the OK key.
3 Press the or key to select [Service Setting], and
press the OK key.
4 Press the or key to select [FAX Call Set.], and press
the OK key.
5 Press the or key to select [Exchange Select.], and
press the OK key.
6 Press the or key to select [PBX], and press the OK
key.
7 Press the or key to select [Dial No. to PSTN], and
press the OK key.
8 Use the numeric keys to enter the number to access the
outside line, and press the OK key.
9 Press [Exit] (the Right Select key).

Set a number to access an outside line. For the
number, contact the PBX administrator.
