Chapter 1: 680 Series Mounting Frames
Power Consumption
Each frame comes with a power supply and, in some cases, the frame is
prewired to accept an optional redundant power supply.
Power consumption depends on how many modules are loaded in the frame,
how many outputs are being used, and what signals are being applied to these
modules. Table 1-1 lists the nominal power consumption for each frame.
Table 1-2 lists the nominal power consumption for each module.
To prevent electric shock, do not use the (polarized)
plug with an extension cord, receptacle, or other outlet
unless the blades can be fully inserted to prevent blade
exposure.
