aWi-Finetwork.
AWi-FiconnectionrequiresaccesstoafunctioningWirelessAccessPoint(WAP),alsocalledahotspot.
Somehotspotsareopentothepublic,butsomeothersimplementsecurityfeaturestolimitaccessto
specicgroupsorindividuals.

ToestablishaWi-Finetworkconnection,dothefollowing:
1.OpenAndroidSettingsandswitchonWi-Fi.Alistofavailablenetworksisdisplayed.
2.TouchaWi-Finetworktoconnecttoit.Ifthenetworkissecured,typetherequiredpasswordorother
credentials.
YourtabletsupportstheproxyfeatureforWi-Ficonnection.Theproxyfeatureenablesyoutoaccessmore
Web-basedsourceandbrowseInternetmoresecurely.Ifyouwanttoconguretheproxysettingswhenyou
areconnectingtoaWi-Finetwork,selecttheShowadvancedoptionscheckbox.Formoreinformation
aboutproxysettings,consultyourITadministrators.
WhenyouareconnectedtoaWi-Finetwork,touchitsnameontheWi-Fisettingsscreenfordetailsabout
thespeed,security,address,andrelatedinformation.
AddingaWi-Finetwork
IfyouwanttoaccessaWi-Finetworkthatdoesnotbroadcastitsnetworkname(alsocalledaserviceset
identierorSSID),youmustaddthatWi-Finetworkbeforeyoucanconnecttoit.
