theotherendofthecabletotheconnector1ontheexpandercard.

2.Useanothermini-SAStomini-SASsignalcableandconnectthemini-SASconnectorononeendof

thecabletotheport1ontheThinkServerRAID500Adapter.Then,connectthemini-SASconnector

ontheotherendofthecabletotheconnector2ontheexpandercard.

•IfyouareusingaThinkServerRAID700Adapter,dothefollowing:

1.Useamini-SAStomini-SASsignalcableandconnectthemini-SASconnectorononeendofthe

cabletotheports3-0ontheThinkServerRAID700Adapter.Then,connectthemini-SASconnector

ontheotherendofthecabletotheconnector1ontheexpandercard.

2.Useanothermini-SAStomini-SASsignalcableandconnectthemini-SASconnectorononeend

ofthecabletotheports7-4ontheThinkServerRAID700Adapter.Then,connectthemini-SAS

connectorontheotherendofthecabletotheconnector2ontheexpandercard.

•IfyouareusingaThinkServerRAID710Adapter,dothefollowing:

1.Useamini-SAStomini-SASsignalcableandconnectthemini-SASconnectorononeendofthe

cabletotheports1ontheThinkServerRAID710Adapter.Then,connectthemini-SASconnectoron

theotherendofthecabletotheconnector1ontheexpandercard.

2.Useanothermini-SAStomini-SASsignalcableandconnectthemini-SASconnectorononeendof

thecabletotheports2ontheThinkServerRAID710Adapter.Then,connectthemini-SASconnector
