Querying the current bus status
In code C13861
/ C14861, the current PROFINET bus status is shown:
Assignment Meaning
Bit 15 ... Bit 6 Reserved
Bit 5 Bit 4 PROFINET bus status
0 0 Init After the initialisation, the I/O device waits for a
communication partner and a system start-up.
1 0 Data Exchange / Process
Data Valid
The "Data Exchange" state has been reached.
• After the system start-up, the IO device with the IO
controller goes to the "Data Exchange" state to
exchange cyclic process data.
• Process data that are identified as valid (IOPS is
"GOOD") are received from the IO controller as well as
alarms and acyclic requirement data.
0 1 Data Exchange / Process
Data Invalid
From SW version 3.00 onwards:
The "Data Exchange" state has been reached.
• After the system start-up, the IO device with the IO
controller goes to the "Data Exchange" state to
exchange cyclic process data.
• Process data that are identifed as invalid (IOPS is
"BAD") are received from the IO controller, typically
when the PLC is in the STOP state, as well as alarms
and acyclic requirement data.
1 1 No Data Exchange The "Data Exchange" state has been exited (see chapter
[11.1]
).
Up to SW version 2.10, the following applies:
Process data that are identifed as invalid (IOPS is "BAD")
are received from the IO controller, typically when the
PLC is in the STOP state, as well as alarms and acyclic
requirement data.
