Without motor protection, the connected motor can be damaged or destroyed by overheating. The
motor is protected if the step switch [S] is > 0 or code C0120 is > -0-.
l Set the rated current according to the connected motor by using the [S] or via C0120.
The startec control mode (C0014) must be adapted to the wiring. Otherwise, the starttec can be
damaged:
l Tw o motors, one direction of rotation: C0014 = 0 (Lenze setting)
l One motor, c hange of direction of rotation: C0014 = 1!
