Coupling
of
the
bad
to
the
Servo
System
The numerical control
SX-l
produces
acontrol
signal
that
is
dependent
upon
the
differen
-
ce
between
the
Required
Position
W
and
the
Actual
Position
X.
This
signal
causes
a
movement
in
such a
direction
as
to
reduce
that
difference.
Thus the
difference between
Required
and
Actual
position
(W
-
X
=
XW)
becomes
zero
when
(W
-
X)
=0,
and
the
servo
stops.
This
voltage
produceci
by
the
numerical
control
is
determined by
the
KV
factor
(=
voltage
produced
per
increment
of
position
error)
and
is
very
important
in
determining
drive
stiffness,
stability
and
accuracy.
