Connecting pipes
The pipes to be connected include:
1. Condensed water drain pipe of indoor unit
2. Water inlet pipe of electrode humidifier
3. Connection copper pipe (discharge pipe and liquid pipe) between indoor unit and outdoor unit
4. Pipe extension kit (optional)
Connecting condensed water drain pipe of indoor unit
The condensed water of electrode humidifier and evaporator is converged by a tray and drained through the drain
pipe of drain pump, and the location is shown in Figure 2-17. The unit adopts top drain mode by default, if you need
to drain water from the top, do not change the drain pipe of the unit, and you only need to connect a drain pipe to the
drain hole (see Figure 2-19) on top the cabinet; if you need to drain water from the bottom, you need to remove the
drain soft pipe which has already been connected in the unit, and lead it through the drain hole (see Figure 2-17,
marked on the bottom plate of the unit), and connect it with the outer drain pipe. The outer diameter of the top drain
copper pipe is 12.7mm, and the inner diameter of the bottom drain soft pipe is 10mm.
Note
Because the electrode humidifier contains flowing hot water, the plastic pipe must be resistant to heat higher than 90°C.

Connecting water inlet pipe of electrode humidifier
Water pipes should be connected for the electrode humidifier. The unit adopts top water inlet mode by default. If you
need to fill water from the top, do not change the water inlet pipe in the unit, you only need to connect a water inlet
pipe to the water inlet hole (see Figure 2-19) on top of the cabinet by using the threaded connector in accessories; if
you need to fill water from the bottom, unscrew the connector (connected with the copper pipe) of the water inlet soft
pipe of humidifier, knock out the water inlet hole (near the humidifier) on bottom of the cabinet, lead the water inlet
soft pipe through the water inlet hole, and connect it to the outer water inlet pipe. Screw down the threaded connector
on the water inlet pipe for fixing (A seal ring is inside without PTFE tape.), as shown in Figure 2-18. Other connecting
mode can also be selected in engineering, but the connection must be sealed to avoid water leaking, and the
pressure range of main pipe should be 100kPa ~ 700kPa.
