Chapter 4 System Power-On Commissioning
This chapter introduces the system power-on commissioning, including location of MCBs, power-on commissioning of
air-cooled series unit.
4.1 Location Of MCBs
The MCB locations of Liebert CRV+ series unit are shown in Figure 4-1. For the MCB distribution in different unit
electrical control box, please refer to the actual label on the cabinet for distinguishing.

4.2 Power-On Commissioning Of Air-Cooled Series Unit
4.2.1 Preparation Before Commissioning
Mechanical part
1. According to the indicating label on the valve, open all valves in the refrigerant loop.
2. The cooling pipe system has past the pressure leakage test.
3. Ensure that the refrigerant has been correctly charged.
4. The total charge quantity has been roughly calculated. If the required charge quantity exceeds the standard one,
the rated amount of refrigerant oil should have been refilled into the system. Refer to 2.5.2 Charging Refrigerant
And Adding Refrigerant Oil.
5. The water supply and drain pipes of the humidification system have been reliably connected, the material
requirement is met and the leakage detection has been done.
6. The heating tape of the compressor has been preheated for over 12 hours.
7. The equipment room is above 18°C with certain heat load. Otherwise, pre-heat the equipment room with any
heating device, or by forcedly running the heaters of the unit (in this case, go through the following procedures till
step three of 4.2.2 Commissioning Procedures first) and of other equipment in the room. Ensure sufficient heat load
for the commissioning.
