7 Install
Install the ApexRp
Installation Basics:
This section is provided as an example of a typical ApexRp
installation. The tools and hardware shown are examples and may
not apply to all installations. It is suggested that safety glasses and
other equipment be used to prevent injury. Do NOT attempt to drill
into a wall that may have live AC power behind the wallboard being
drilled. Contact Facilities Management personnel to have the area
made safe before beginning installation.
The ApexRp must be mounted on a vertical flat surface and
must have the Inlet to Outlet path as close to vertical as possible.
Installing the Wall Bracket/ApexRp
Tools/Hardware Required:
Every installation of measuring instruments is dependent upon facility
surroundings, construction materials and points of placement. Due to
these differences, specific instructions cannot be supplied in this
document. However, the listed tools and hardware shown in Figure 7-
1 are typical for most installations.

WARNING: Power Supply specifications are 100-120VAC, 47-63Hz, 0.5A input, 24VDC 750mA output
(18W max). Replacing with a power supply that does not meet these specifications may void the ApexRp
warranty and risk exposing equipment and users to fire and shock hazard. If replacement of the power
supply or its AC power cord is required, replace only with a power supply or cord having as good as or
better ratings than the items provided by Lighthouse Worldwide Solutions. Attempting to use an under-
rated power supply or cord can expose the instrument power supply, adjacent equipment or the user to
dangerous shock and fire hazards. Failure to heed this warning can result in personal injury or death.
