3.2.2 Thighrest and Calfrest control (S6015840, S6018800 (Wider deck))
Thighrest and calfrest are positioned mechanically (only for 4-part mattress support platform) . A gas spring provides arrestment in
positions and boosting during Thighrest lifting. The gas spring is controlled by levers on both bed sides separately by mechanical
unblocking mechanism. Control levers are independent of each other. Function of the control levers, position of the control levers
and position of the gas spring can be adjusted by means of screws on the control mechanism, alternatively by screwing gas spring
piston rod into the fork. During Thighrest lifting it is not necessary to unblock gas spring. With increased strenght it is possible to lift
Thighrest manually.
Calfrest positioning is enabled by two ratched-bars which can be arrested in required positions. When lowering the Calfrest, it must Calfrest positioning is enabled by two ratched-bars which can be arrested in required positions. When lowering the Calfrest, it must
