3.3.4 Data connection
The data transmission takes place through the RS485 serial interface, if you use
the Profibus-DP® protocol and ethernet interface if you purchase the version with
Profinet® protocol. Also in this case it is important to use shielded cables
especially if long or coupled with cables that can induce electrical noise (cables
connected to the actuators, motors, etc.).
3.4 Power supply connection
3.4.1 Layout of the terminal
blocks
The instruments of DLC
NET
series have three terminal blocks connection, with the
Fieldbus connector, which can be a D-SUB 9-pin connector for the Profibus-DP
®
protocol or double RJ45 Ethernet port with integrated switch in the case of
connection in Profinet
®
(Figure 6, Figure 7).

The terminal blocks have the following nomenclature:
↘ TB1: load cells connection
↘ TB2: Fieldbus
↘ TB3: serial connection for remote display
↘ TB4: power supply connection
