5 Use as interface with indicator
5.1 Introduction
The instruments of DLC
NET
series are equipped with keyboard and display for local
use of the instrument.
They are also compatible with remote displays Logic of DLC3-RD series or, in
hazardous areas, with BEKA
®
BA488C display. Connection is via RS-485 serial
port on board the DLC
NET
, as described in paragraph 3.6.
In order to ensure the displaying of weight, it is necessary to perform the
operations of setting and calibration in kg. Via Fieldbus the value read by the load
cells is always transmitted expressed in divisions.
5.1.1 User interface
The instrument operator interface is that shown in Figure 33.

Using the DLC
NET
coupled to a serial display Logic DLC3-RD, you can use the
user interface of the remote display exactly like the one on board the instrument,
with the keyboard and 6-digit display shown in Figure 34.
