Unlocking the Wheels
(figures 13-13A)
IMPORTANT: DO NOT USE THE MOWER
WHEN THE WHEELS ARE LOCKED.
1. Remove the circle cotter (item1), the
3/16" x 1" pin (item 2) from each front
wheel.
2. Raise the 1/2" x 3" pin (item 3) to align
the hole with the bushing hole welded to
the wheel supports and secure with the
3/16" x 1" pin (item 2) and the circle
cotter (item1). The wheels (item 4) must
move freely.
Roll Over Step (figures 14-14A-14B)
It is important that the wheels be adjusted
to the lowest cutting height before
climbing on the mower.
1. Figure 14: Start the tractor and move
slowly toward the mower as
perpendicular as possible. Align the
tractor front wheels with the wire netting
welded on top of mower frame.
It is important that the tractor be in
four wheel drive mode.
2. Figure 14A: After climbing over the wire
nettings continue advancing slowly and
climb on the belt guards. Keep a
constant speed and get down the
mower.
The mower must be relatively
centered between the tractor wheels.
3. Figure 14B: Stop the tractor engine, set
the parking brake and remove the
ignition key.
