NOTE
When the Extended Features PRESETS, PTNT QUERY menu option is set to QUERY ON and the
ventilator is powered up in normal ventilation mode, ventilation and alarm activation are suspended
and the message SAME PATIENT is displayed after completing POST tests.
Press the Select button to enable the suspended alarms and begin ventilation with the settings in
use during the last power cycle, or set the PTNT QUERY menu option to QUERY OFF.
3) Power the ventilator up and observe the POST tests. All POST tests must complete
normally.
A) Audible alarm is on for 1 second.
B) Confirming audible chirp occurs after alarm.
C) All displays (except Vent Inop) are lit for 3 seconds.
D) The POST messages are flashed in the message window.

E) When the POST tests are successfully passed, ventilation begins within 20
seconds. Power down the ventilator.
4) Disconnect the ventilator from all external power sources. Power the ventilator up from
the internal battery and observe the POST tests. All POST tests must complete
normally.
A) Audible alarm is on for 1 second.
B) Confirming audible chirp occurs after alarm.
C) All displays (except External Power, Charge Status, and Vent Inop) are lit for
3 seconds.
D) The POST messages are briefly flashed in the message window.

E) When the POST tests are successfully passed, ventilation begins within 20
seconds with a Power Lost alarm.
