5) Allow approximately 10-15 seconds for the value to stabilize then read the meter-
displayed value for frequency.
6) Calculate the turbine speed value measured in revolutions per minute (RPM) by
multiplying the frequency displayed on the meter by the number 30. Round the total to
the nearest 10.
7) The measured turbine speed must be between 3400 and 4400 RPM.
8) Record the measured turbine speed (T/S) value. This value is used in the Performance
Checkout patient port pressure testing.
If the measured T/S value is outside of the above range, check the setup and repeat the
