The system plays two types of greetings: Automated Attendant and Voice Mail. This
chapter gives instructions for changing both types of greetings to suit your business
needs. Figure 6-8 provides overview of the System Greetings menus.
Voice Mail Greeting
Subscribers wanting to send or receive messages enter the Voice Mail service,
which then plays the Voice Mail Greeting. The factory-set Voice Mail Greeting is
strongly recommended:
Welcome to PARTNER MAIL. Please enter extension and pound sign.
However, if your company prefers a customized greeting, see “Changing the Voice
Mail Greeting” below for instructions.
Listening to the Voice Mail Greeting
To listen to the greeting that plays when callers enter the Voice Mail Service follow
the instructions below:
