GEAR DRIVE TRANSMISSION
The gear drive transmission has a three forward and one reverse gear
section and a three-speed range section. This arrangement gives 9
forw
ard and 3 reverse speeds.
Transmission Operation
1.
The tractor is equipped with dual clutch. The tractor movement stops
by pressing the clutch pedal halfway. Pressing the pedal fully stops
the PTO shafts.
2.
Push the clutch pedal and stop the tractor. Move the gear shift lever
to the gear needed.
3. Move the range shift lever to the position needed, H, M or L, (The
tractor must be stopped before the range lever is operated.)
4. Release the clutch pedal slowly.
5.
The gear shift lever can be shifted into any range when traveling. To
do this, push the clutch pedal half way and move the gear shift lever
to the position needed.
IMPORTANT:
Before selecting a new range, push the clutch pedal
halfway and stop the tractor. Do not change range when the tractor is
moving.
NOTE:
When shifting from third to another range, be careful not to run
the engine at more than 2700 RPM.
