INDICATIONS TO THE USER OF AGRICULTURAL MACHINERY
SAFETY
It is crucial for avoiding accidents to know very well the use of the agricultural machinery, being this
indispensable to avoid accidents to those who operate or to third parties..
We suggest follow these general indications:
1. The owner should make sure that the operator manual has been consulted, studied and understood in
all its content by who will be the operator.
2. It should be veried that all the stickers of caution and indications, are in good condition. Contrary case
should be ordered its replacement, requesting them to the corresponding dealer.
3. For the machines or equipment that uses the PTO as power supply you must:
• Verify that all protections placed and controlling that this does not cause impediments and are
free to rotate.
• Control with care and follow the instructions about the coupling distances (of displacement zone
in the PTO shaft). The modications of the draw bar must be done in respect of the indications.

PTO shaft not well placed (with
poor contact between male and
female parts).
• Control the RPM that are
indicated for the machine or
equipment use (540 o 1000
RPM).
• Avoid agricultural machines or
equipment to be towed by cars
or trucks. These are suitable
and are designed to be towed
by tractors, with a maximum
speed of 20 - 30 km/hr.
• Verify in the machines or equipment the transport width. If it is greater than the allowed for
transport on roadways, use ashers, side ags or trafc accompaniment from the back by another
vehicle.
4. Do not admit thirds persons over the machine or equipment either in work or in transport.
5. The operator before beginning with the work or transport must carry out a general inspection of the unit,
verifying that it doesn’t miss any vital element like bolts, pins, clips, etc.
6. Respect the maintenance rules detailed on these manual.
VERY IMPORTANT: do not proceed to repair or inspect parts of the machine or equipment without
before they have stopped all the pieces with movement and the tractor or machine
