MANUAL SIGNS FOR THE AGRICULTURAL INDUSTRY
1 Purpose and range
1.1 These graphics show manual signs for work in the agricultural industry. Especially if there is too much
noise or the distance too big that verbal communication is impossible.
1.2 The purpose of the manual signs is too have a simple system of communication. Particularly orientated
to the security of the users of the agricultural and forestal machines.
2 In general
2.1 Some of these signs are although used in construction and other industries where noise or distance
make it impossible too use verbal communication.
3 Manual signs:
Fig.1 - DISTANCE LEFT WICH IS LEFT
- Hold up your hands to your ears in the
way showed in the picture and move
them in the direction of your head. The
distance between your hands shows the
distance witch is left.
Fig. 2 - MOVE IN MY DIRECTION
Hold up one arm in the way indicated
in the picture and rotate the arm in big
horizontal circles.
Fig. 3 - MOVE IN MY DIRECTION – FO-
LLOW ME Hold up one arm vertically
and with the other show toward the per-
son, car or unit. Move now this hand in
direction of your body.
Fig. 4 - MOVE AWAY – GO TOO – Look
in the desired direction of the movement.
Hold one arm horizontal backwards and
move the arm describing circles over
your head in the desired direction until
your hand shows with the interior side
too the ground.
Fig. 5 - STOP Hold up your arm ver-
tically, in the way that the interior side
shows in the direction of the other per-
son. Hold this position until the other un-
derstood the sign.
Fig. 6 SPEED UP MOVE FASTER
Hold up your st to your shoulder and
move it up until your arm is totally exten-
ded then move it down to your shoulder.
These repeat a few times rapidly.
