1. STANDARDS AND WARNINGS
FOREWORD
This instruction manual aims to provide all the specific information necessary to understand and operate your MARPOSS
equipment correctly.
The descriptions contained in this manual are intended for the following categories of personnel:
The MARPOSS or Customer personnel responsible for installing the equipment.
The Customer’s technical staff who will be directly involved with operating the MARPOSS equipment.
Customer’s technical Personnel responsible for maintaining the production line in which the MARPOSS equipment
is installed.
ALL RIGHTS RESERVED. THIS MANUAL IS INTENDED FOR INTERNAL USE BY THE CUSTOMER ONLY. ALL
OTHER USES ARE PROHIBITED.
TESTING AND GUARANTEE
The guarantee covers all defects in the materials, with the following limitations:
GUARANTEE PERIOD: the guarantee covers the product and any repairs carried out within the terms foreseen in
the sale contract.
SUBJECT OF THE GUARANTEE: the guarantee applies to the Products or its parts marked with the serial numbers
or other identification systems used by MARPOSS.
The above guarantee applies unless other agreements were made between the Customer and MARPOSS.
GENERAL SAFETY REGULATIONS
This equipment has been manufactured in conformity with the STANDARD CEI EN 61010-1, CEI EN 61326-1.
CONVENTIONS AND SYMBOLS USED
A number of symbols have been used when preparing this manual.
Two types of safety warnings have been defined:
ATTENTION
This indicates the risk of damage to the electronic unit, or to other devices that may be connected to it, or
the loss of data.
WARNING
This indicates a risk of injury to the operator or the technician.
N.B.
Important information that may assist in understanding and operating the system are placed in text frames,
and highlighted by the letters “NB” in block capitals.
