Personnel, qualification and duties
2.10.3 Duties of the operating personnel
The operating personnel must:
• be trained and instructed,
• use the machine as intended,
• wear the necessary personal protective equipment,
• observe the basic regulations regarding workplace safety and accident
prevention,
• read and heed the chapter "2 Basic safety instructions" and the safety
instructions in this operating manual,
• immediately put the machine out of operation in the event of defects or
abnormal operating states/malfunctions,
• immediately report any identified defects or abnormal operating states/
malfunctions.
The operating personnel is responsible for
• protecting the machine against unauthorized use,
• operating the machine only when it is fully functional, safe and reliable,
• carrying out the cleaning according to the maintenance schedule.
2.10.4 Duties of the maintenance personnel
The maintenance personnel must:
• be trained and instructed.
• use the machine as intended.
• wear the necessary personal protective equipment.
The maintenance personnel is responsible for
• protecting the machine against unauthorized use,
• the maintenance being carried out according to the maintenance sched-
ule.
